How To Wire the ADC-VDB755P to a Chime
The Alarm.com PoE Video Doorbell (ADC-VDB755P) is wired in the same configuration for both mechanical and digital chimes for ease of installation.
Important: The transformer must be rated for the chime in use.
Working doorbell check

How To Adjust saved video resolution for the ADC-VDB755P
Saved video settings can be customized for the ADC-VDB755P.
To adjust saved video image settings using the Alarm.com website:
Log into the Alarm.com website.
Click Video.
Click Settings.
Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired camera.
Click Saved Video.
Using the Resolution (pixels) dropdown menu, select the desired video resolution.
Click Save.
How To Factory reset an ADC-VDB755P to its default settings
Resetting a video device to its factory defaults removes all programming from the device.
Important: Wait at least two minutes for the video device to power on fully before performing the following procedure. The factory reset might fail if the device is still powering on.

Are there additional mounting brackets for the ADC-VDB755P?
Yes. Additional mounting brackets for the ADC-VDB755P include the Single-gang Mounting Plate Kit (ADC-VDBA-755P-MNT) and the Wedge Mount Kit (ADC-VDBA-755P-WMK) that includes two additional wedge types.

The VDB755P is compatible with standard mechanical and digital chimes.
Note: Because the ADC-VDB755P does not draw power from the doorbell chime circuit and transformer, it may be able to operate chimes outside the standard types listed here, similar to an analog doorbell button.
However, Alarm.com cannot test every doorbell chime available to users and, therefore, cannot guarantee or support performance on all chime types.

The Alarm.com PoE Video Door Station (ADC-VDB755P) does not make a humming or buzzing sound, but the chime can. On a small number of installations, mechanical chimes can buzz or hum, indicating the current is running through the chime when the button is not pressed.
An incorrectly configured VDB755P or a transformer that is too old can cause a buzzing door chime. The VDB755P’s configuration requirements change based on what type of door chime is on the circuit.
