Alarm.com System Enhancement Module (SEM300)

Overview

The Alarm.com System Enhancement Module (SEM 300) turns a legacy security alarm panel such as the Honeywell Vista or DSC PowerSeries into a modern Alarm.com-compatible security system with remote control via the Alarm.com app, home automation via Z-Wave, and dual-path communication (both cellular and internet).

Installing a SEM300 requires electronics wiring and legacy alarm panel keypad programming that can be daunting for some. It’s a technically advanced installation. Only attempt it yourself if you’re comfortable with this.

Honeywell Vista SEM

Alarm.com System Enhancement Module (SEM) is the most cost-effective and comprehensive solution for migrating compatible Honeywell/ADEMCO VISTA 10P, 15P, 20P, and 21 IP panels to Alarm.com’s award-winning interactive services. The SEM supports the 4G LTE cellular network and optional Broadband Ethernet, ensuring the longest life cycle with the most secure and reliable service.

The product above is the Verizon version of the Vista SEM300. If you would like the AT&T version instead, you can order the Verizon model and put in the order notes that you want the AT&T model instead.

If you do not already have one, a 6160 Custom Alpha Keypad is recommended for programming.
