How to pair myQ LiftMaster Chamberlain Smart Garage to Alarm.com

Once the myQ device has been installed and is connected to Wi-Fi successfully, it can be connected to your Alarm.com account. This is done via the Alarm.com Website.

myQ devices cannot be connected via the mobile Alarm.com app at this time.

To do so:

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com Website. (not the Alarm.com app)
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Manage Devices.
  4. Click Add Device.
  5. Click Garage Door.
  6. Select the desired LiftMaster device.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the device installation.
    • This serial number is separate from the Product S/N. Look for the myQ logo to find the correct serial number. Typically printed on the back of the unit.
  9. The page displays a pinwheel, indicating that the device is being added. When finished, it redirects to the Garage page, where the new devices are listed.
