Once the myQ device has been installed and is connected to Wi-Fi successfully, it can be connected to your Alarm.com account. This is done via the Alarm.com Website.
myQ devices cannot be connected via the mobile Alarm.com app at this time.
To do so:
- Log in to the Alarm.com Website. (not the Alarm.com app)
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click Add Device.
- Click Garage Door.
- Select the desired LiftMaster device.
- Click Next.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the device installation.
- This serial number is separate from the Product S/N. Look for the myQ logo to find the correct serial number. Typically printed on the back of the unit.
- The page displays a pinwheel, indicating that the device is being added. When finished, it redirects to the Garage page, where the new devices are listed.
