Qolsys 4 Panel no communication

Read as much as I could on the site. I have the Qolsys 4 panel with the latest firmware.
Returning home from an extended time away, noticed I have a no cellular connection warning. But I did have wifi connectivity.
I did a reboot. No change to cellular BUT I lost wifi connection.
Performed a reboot after powering down, disconnecting the battery and waiting 5 minutes.
No change. The panel tries to “turn on wifi” but it never does.
When I do a cellular test, the panel states it is waiting for a CS response. After a time it times out.

Any suggestions?

I’m showing unknown to poor (2/6) cellular signal strength for some time.

As a test, disarm the system, then power it down completely. Steps on how to do so safely can be found here:

Take the panel outside, boot it up, wait 5 minutes then run a cell test. Any change? With this test, we’re attempting to rule out any local issues with signaling.

Post a clear picture of the result in reply or send it to us at support@suretyhome.com if possible.

I will power it up outside.
What “clear picture of the result” are you looking for?
Any idea why I cannot activate wifi or even show available networks?

Same result. screen shot sent to support.

A similar situation is discussed in the following thread. It looks like a factory reset was ultimately required to get the radios out of this state.

You might be able to first try updating firmware via the access point mode if that is working currently. Here is a link to 4.4.2 which can upgrade your panel’s last reported version.

This option is found under Settings > Advanced Settings > Upgrade Software, then touch “Upgrade Using Access Point”

Jason,
Couldn’t access via the AP. I will do a factory reset. Could you please point me to the steps to perform this action?

It is under the Dealer settings menu which is accessible via the dealer code. The default code is 2222.

Settings > Advanced Settings > enter Dealer Code > Installation > Dealer Settings > Master Reset is near the bottom.

Thanks again for the ALWAYS correct advice!
Did a factory reset; it fixed all the issues!!
