I have 1 PowerG sensor on my system reporting a malfunction. I run all the tests and it shows strong signal. I replaced batteries and no change. I now removed the sensor from my iq4 panel and the system is still showing the sensor as malfunctioned even though its removed. I would like to re-add, but what should my next steps be?
Happy to help! Looking at your account I think I see the issue. The device that is reporting malfunction is a Z-wave device, not a PowerG sensor.
It looks like a PowerG sensor was deleted that had the same name as the Z-wave light that is showing a malfunction.
To troubleshoot a Z-wave device, use the guide below:
Z-Wave device is in malfunction or offline
If a Z-Wave device is showing that it is offline, then it is not responding to commands or communicating with the Z-Wave network.
As soon as a response is received from a malfunctioning Z-Wave device, it is automatically put back into online status.
Verify the device has power and is turned on.
Verify the Z-Wave device is within range of the Z-Wave network.
Verify if a successful network rediscovery has been performed recently.

This guide covers some common programming choices for PowerG sensors wth the Qolsys IQ Panel 2/2+, IQ Panel 4 and IQ4 Hub alarm panels.
Below is the pathway taken at the panel to access sensor programming. We recommend manually programming the sensor. Installer code or Dealer code is required as the Master code does not give you access to panel programming.
To do so, tap Settings > Advanced Settings > enter installer code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors.

UGHH, I didnt even pick up on that.. Thank you.. Ill re-add the power g sensor, and work on the zwave switch and ultimatly rename that to avoid future confusion. Thank you for the help.
