Having “Initial Boot Failure” (IBF) issue with IQ-4 panel now.
Panel is brand new, unused.
Panel will not boot on 3s power button use.
Using unmodified, factory power supply “Barrel Jack” and Power is present at panel.
Panel would not boot on wall.
Assumed BUB (backup battery) issue…
Panel is face down on desk during this process, back mtng plate removed…
Power disconnected via barrel jack,
BUB unplugged from sys brd, 5 sec,
BUB plugged back in,
(No status change)
BJ (Barrel Jack) re-connected.
(Panel flashes re 1 time then continuous red LED 10 sec then flashes blu LED 3 times and goes black.)
CONTINUEING DEVELOPEMENT:
After aprx 3 min flashing Blu LED, Blu LED went continuous for aprx 3 sec then changed to continuous Grn LED.
After replacing rear mtng plate, Panel (still on desktop) is in Grn LED continuous condition and initial boot sequence has automatically started.
Assumed BUB has been successfully, sufficiently charged for proper boot.
Has the panel fully booted up? I show that your account still has the IQ Panel 2+ associated with it, and the system is not communicating with Alarm.com at this time.
If you need us to switch the IMEI number on the account, please send us a private message with the IMEI number for the new system.
Ran setup
Received backend connection error.
“Didn’t get receipt from back end”
Skipped and continued setup with no issues except “Backend Receipt Failure”.
Panel then updated software.
Panel rebooted and started the setup process all over again but retained all previous info.
Skipped all screens.
Panel then settled into normal operations mode.
Accessed “Advanced Settings” and ran cellular test.
Cellular test passed.
All currently appears nominal.
(occasionally I miss this work)
QUESTION:
I have the new QualSys IQ4 panel hooked up, my sensors and z-Waze linked and I tried to set up the app and it only links to my old ADT service.
How do I disassociate ADT from my app and connect you guys?
I can see that your panel is connected to and working with your Alarm.com account with us. But it says you haven’t yet logged into your Alarm.com account. Can you go to System Manager, wait for the Log into Alarm.com button to appear, and click that to log in for the first time and set your password?
What makes you say that you’re still associated with your ADT account?

If you are logging in to Alarm.com and it is going to a different provider account, that would suggest you are using an old username. Make sure you are using the desired Alarm.com username you entered in your activation form on our website.
You will want to finish the initial set up process through the System Manager section of your Surety login first to get connected to your new Alarm.com account for the first time before proceeding with testing.
