We’re excited to announce the launch of Dexter the Surety Chatbot. Dexter is an AI chatbot that is now available in beta testing mode on the Surety forum.
Dexter is here to add to the Surety support experience you’re familiar with, not replace it. You don’t have to chat with Dexter if you don’t want to. You can continue only using the forum and the live human support team, and nothing will change. The benefits of chatting with Dexter are:
- Dexter is available 24/7, including nights and weekends, like the forum.
- Dexter responds immediately, while our human support team takes a little longer.
- Dexter may be able to answer questions that you couldn’t answer with a forum search.
To chat with Dexter, go to the forum home page and use the chatbot button at the bottom right of the forum. The chatbot button is only available on the forum home page, not when you’re reading a forum topic. You must be logged in to use it (creating an account is free).
- Go to the forum home page.
- Make sure you’re logged in. Register for a free account if you don’t already have one.
- Click the chatbot button in the bottom-right of the forum home page.
The chatbot window will open and you can ask your questions!!!
If you want to use the chatbot in full screen mode so that it’s easier to read long replies from Dexter, use the “expand” button (circled in the image above).
When you’re done, use the “downsize” button (circled in the image above) to get back to the regular forum view.
If you’re chatting with Dexter and feel like you would rather chat with the human support team instead, just write “escalate to support” to escalate your chat to the support team.
