Help on ADC t2000 wiring

Inexperienced User

New to posting on Reddit. I have the Qolsys 4 panel under Suretyhome Complete. I need help with wiring of t2000 thermostat for my Goodman furnace and Goodman AC. It did not kick on when wiring was complete. Older programmable Honeywell thermostat wiring was very fragile from the wall and kept snapping so I ran new wiring. It is showing up on panel but says it is off. Could someone post a link or provide suggestions on wiring correctly?

I’m showing that the thermostat is reporting a malfunction, indicating that it can’t communicate with the panel.

How far is the thermostat from the panel?

Is the thermostat’s display on? If not, does the thermostat’s display turn on when you press any of the buttons?

Is it just the outdoor unit that doesn’t come on?

Also, was the AC wiring like that previously? I believe the red wire typically connects to the Y terminal, while the white wire connects to the C terminal. However, I recommend double-checking with an HVAC technician before making any changes to these connections.

I have removed and reinstalled the thermostat. HVAC tech confirmed wiring is correct; however, system keeps saying a new thermostat is detected. I have gone through wire identification several times and received the “finished” notification. What do you suggest?

Can you try updating the firmware on your panel? I show that you’re current firmware is out of date, and a critical fix for an issue related to the cellular connectivity of the panel was released in November of 2023.

The system will need to be updated twice to get to the latest version. The patch tags you’ll need to use for the updates are:
iqpanel4.4.2
iqpanel4.6.1
