Connect cameras after changing ISP

I recently changed internet providers and lost connection to all of my cameras. The troubleshooting steps on the app say to direct connect the camera to the router, but the only ethernet I have runs to the POE, so disconnecting it won’t work. Is there any way to connect to my new wifi without deleting and reconnecting each camera?

We have a guide on how to reconnect cameras after changing your wifi. Check the steps in the link below and let us know if you are still having any trouble.

I’ve tried all of the steps in the guide and still no luck. I tried to delete and reconnect to one camera, and it says “Could Not Find Video Device”.

The other two still say offline

Are your cameras being powered by the ethernet cord via POE?

If they are, disconnecting them and reconnecting them may be the way to get them to get back online so they can be assigned a new IP address.

If they are on Wi-Fi, then you need to press and hold the WPS/Reset button until the LED starts to flash white. Then:

  1. Using a computer, smartphone, or tablet, connect to the Wi-Fi network named ALARM (##:##:##) . The numbers in parentheses are the last six digits of the video device’s MAC address.
  2. Using a web browser on the Wi-Fi capable device, enter 192.168.1.1 in the web browser and press Enter .
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the video device to the customer’s wireless network.
  4. Click Scan for wireless networks .
  5. Click the name of the desired Wi-Fi network.
  6. In the Security Key field, enter the Wi-Fi password.
  7. Click Ok in the pop-up window that appears asking to refer to the website.

As for the device you deleted, that one will need to be factory reset and then follow the instructions to add it back into your account.

They are POE. And I have tried disconnecting the switch and the cables and reconnecting, but it did not work

What is the color of the LED currently? Solid red or flashing green?

Is your switch connected to your new router?
