Is the Go Control Model GD00Z-8-GC compatible with a Chamberlain B4310 serial # 3C0021F584 garage door opener. I am having an issue syncing the two together.
Hey gptib! Happy to help.
Per our setup guide, Chamberlain, LiftMaster, and Craftsman openers with a round yellow learn button and/or a MyQ logo aren’t compatible with the GD00Z: How To Setup a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller
Can you check your B4310 for either of those? And what alarm panel are you pairing the GD00Z with? That’ll help us point you in the right direction.
My opener has both the yellow learn button and the MYQ logo
The panel is a ADC-SEM-200
Thanks for checking! Unfortunately, that means the GD00Z won’t work with your opener. Chamberlain openers with a yellow learn button or MyQ logo aren’t compatible with it.
For MyQ openers, we recommend the Ecolink Z-Wave garage controller instead. It works with Alarm.com and lets you keep using the MyQ app too: How To Connect Chamberlain/LiftMaster MyQ Garage Door to Alarm.com
One thing to check first: the Ecolink isn’t compatible with the 2GIG GC2 or GC2e panels. What alarm panel are you using?
My panel is an ADC-SEM-200
Thanks for checking both! Since your B4310 has the yellow learn button and MyQ logo, it isn’t compatible with the GD00Z-8-GC. Chamberlain openers with either of those don’t work with the GD00Z: How To Setup a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller
Here are two options for your setup:
- Alarm.com’s MyQ integration. This connects your MyQ opener to Alarm.com over Wi-Fi and requires the MyQ add-on ($1/month) on your account. Note that once it’s connected to Alarm.com, it can’t be used in the MyQ app at the same time. Compatible MyQ devices are listed here: [GUIDE LINK]
- Ecolink Z-Wave Garage Controller. Whether this works on your SEM depends on how many Z-Wave devices you’re currently using. How many do you have connected? One thing to know: your yellow learn button means your opener is Security+ 2.0. Ecolink has found varying success with Security+ 2.0 openers made since 2023, and in that case a Garadget adapter is needed.
