Systems that are Compatible with Surety
There are a wide variety of systems compatible with our service. With a 4G LTE Alarm.com compatible cellular module, you can use any of the following systems with Surety.
If you’re buying a new system, we recommend either the nami Agile Security System or the IQ Panel 5, depending on your home and needs. nami is the easiest to install: you set it up right in the Alarm.com app, which walks you through each step. The IQ Panel 5 is a more advanced, professional-grade panel that takes more effort and technical ability to set up. Both are described below.
nami Agile Security System
The nami Agile Security System is a DIY-friendly system built on Alarm.com and designed to be self-installed in an hour or two. You set it up right in the Alarm.com app, which walks you through the installation step by step. Instead of a traditional alarm panel, a hub called the Pod uses Wi-Fi motion sensing to detect movement across whole rooms, combined with traditional door/window and PIR motion sensors. It’s a great choice for apartments, condos, townhomes, smaller homes, and small business spaces. For larger homes or more advanced setups, consider the IQ Panel 5. nami is currently available through early access.

IQ Panel 5
The IQ Panel 5 from IQ Security (formerly Qolsys) is a great choice for larger homes and businesses, for anyone who wants the most capable platform, or if you have existing wireless sensors you want to keep using. As a professional-grade panel, it takes more effort and technical ability to set up than nami. It works natively with encrypted PowerG and PowerG+ wireless sensors. An optional IQ Card adds one legacy sensor radio (319.5MHz, 345MHz, or 433MHz), so you can keep using existing GE/Interlogix, 2GIG/Honeywell, or DSC wireless sensors.

Either model can be paired with an optional IQ Card for 319.5MHz, 345MHz, or 433MHz legacy sensors. Only one legacy radio can be installed.
IQ 5 Hub
The IQ 5 Hub is a more affordable alternative to the IQ Panel 5. It has the same processor, PowerG+ radio, and Z-Wave Long Range support, but with a lower-resolution screen, a single speaker and microphone, and no camera.
