Water Management response

I got my water sensors, smart valve, and have added water management to my plan.

I am assuming, that in the case of a detected leak, the panel alarms, an alert is sent to the app, and then a call to the landline/home phone, then other contacts in order. At that point, alarm.com and the system has done it’s job.

I would not assume so, but at any point is fire or other emergency services dispatched?

Dispatch would not occur in a leak/flood situation. This would be considered an environmental alarm, in which case operators would:

  • Call Location number listed to notify, if no answer
  • Call Contact List to notify.

At no point would they contact dispatch in this type of alarm event.
