I can’t get my remote temperature sensors to enroll on my IQ Panel 2. When trying to add them to the zwave network, I press the button on the side and they light up, but the panel never finds them. I’ve tried the troubleshooting steps (re-discover network, upgrade firmware) but it didn’t help. Thoughts?
Which version (part number) are you attempting to pair? Try clearing them from the network first. Do they clear? If so, then add.
Remote temp sensors do not take part in Z-Wave Network Rediscoveries.
The model number is B36-S10. They won’t add to the network, so I can’t clear them.
The Remove Device steps can be done on any Z-wave device, even if it is not added to the panel yet. This is necessary in many cases, because Z-wave devices save parent network info internally. The remove device steps clear this internally saved parent network so that the device can be added to a new network.
Even new devices may have been added to a test network by QA at the manufacturer.
