My new Qolsys remote panel in nighttime mode lights up for a few minutes then goes dark again during the night.. This wakes us up. No reason I can find for this. Otherwise it appears to be working fine. Is this a defect or a programming issue?
Does this always occur around the same time? Can you let me know the last time this occurred so that we can investigate history?
I know it happened about 5am mountain daylight time on Monday. Also
I believe last Saturday around 11pm or midnight. It may have happened more frequently and not awakened us.
Can you try performing a firmware update on the panel? The remote keypad should automatically update to the latest if on Wi-Fi. The instructions for the update are on the release notes in the link below

At 1 am last night the remote panel again lit up for some period of time. The main panel was dark. No messages or alerts.
Still having same issue with remote panel lighting up during the night. Last night I saw it just after it happened. It showed a message synchronizing date. Why would it light up to do this and can I program it not to? (Qolsys panel 5 remote)
