I just installed an ethernet card in the IQ4.
I turned off wifi.
How do I test the ethernet connection. Dual Path test seems to only test wifi and times out.
Can you also see if I am connected to the internet?

Pings to cellular are successful, pings to broadband are not at this time.
Swipe down on the settings tray. Where the Wi-Fi radio icon typically is, this should be replaced by an ethernet jack icon. Is it? You can click on it and it should read Ethernet Connect.
You should also see Ethernet Connected in the System Check page. Do you?
You can run a dual-path test by navigating to Settings > Advanced Settings > System Tests Dual-Path Ethernet Test. Is this an option? If so, what is the result?
I tested the ethernet cable with a laptop. It connects to the internet. So the cable is OK
On the back of the panel when the ethernet cable is plugged into the card it blinks orange on the left side of the ethernet port.
There is no ehternet icon when i go to ADVANCED settings. It still has the wifi Icon.
When I try to do a dual path test it states wifi is off and that there is no internet connection
seems to work now. Had to shut down then turn back on.
Can you run a test from your end?
Pings via cell and via dual-path (ethernet) are successful at this time.
