You can just turn it back on. You haven’t removed the sensor from your system, you’ve just disabled being notified about it.
Thanks, how can I turn off the notifications on the IQ panel?
I don’t believe you can disable the notifications on panel itself. I think for that you would have to remove the sensor from the panel and just re-enroll it when you get the problem fixed. I’ll double check on Monday and follow up.
Do you have any update on this?
To clarify, you do not want a sensor to trigger notifications in Alarm.com, trigger status updates at the panel (open/close, tamper), or trigger alarms, is that correct?
If so, remove the sensor from panel programming.
In order to not receive status updates from the sensor at the panel, it would need to be removed from panel programming. It can be re-added later if needed.
Sensors can be deleted and paired directly from the panel itself, steps can be found below:
Instead of removing the pair can I just pause it or stop those notifications?
Instead of removing the pair can I just pause it or stop those notifications?
No. While you can disable Chime Type and Voice prompts in sensor programming, you cannot disable receiving sensor status (Open/Close, Activate, Tamper). If you dont want any of that, you need to delete the sensor from programming.
To confirm, is the issue false gate triggers due to wind, or something else?
Can I turn off voice notifications for Open/Close, Activate, Tamper?
Voice Annunciations can be enabled/disabled on a sensor by sensor basis in panel programming.
Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit Sensor > Select Sensor > Voice Prompts > On/Off
How can I Can I turn off voice notifications for Open/Close, Activate, Tamper only for the front gate? and nothing else?
Voice Annunciations can be enabled/disabled on a sensor by sensor basis in panel programming.
To make this change, slide down the settings tray then click on Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit Sensor > Select the Front Gate Sensor > Voice Prompts > On/Off
