When using the sd card and check the onboard 24/7 recordings, there is no audio.
Is this how this works, or should there be audio?
That features needs to be enabled. I have done so at this time. Going forward audio should be recorded.
When using onboard storage, 24/7 audio is only compatible with the following cameras:
- ADC-V515
- ADC-V523/523X
- ADC-V724/724X
- ADC-VC727P
724X are the cams i have, are you saying, you have enabled this on your end for my camera?
I tried to find on my end and could not locate.
I have enabled this feature on your account at this time. Recordings from cameras that support the feature should record audio

When I view the clips under the Onboard 24/7 Timeline, there is still no audio.

Under Recording Rules > Local Recordings, you will need to enable Audio record to SD card.
No, a specific feature needs to be enabled on the account. At this time, only we can enable it.
Hello Tyler, have enabled the audio to record, but still no audio when watching the play back under the Onboard24/7. Above you mentioned Requirements, does my plan have these requirements? Also the SD card is a Sandisk high endurance 512gb
The necessary features are enabled on your account. The Local Recordings associated with the compatible cameras, have audio selected, and the SD card is of a supported type.
Is this occurring on all cameras that support this feature? Do downloaded recordings have audio for all cameras?
When viewing the timeline, do you see a speaker icon on the left hand side of the onboard timeline? . This will be muted by default.
If no icon, is this occurring on the app and on the website, or just one? If you have only tried one, try the other.
If you have not done so, power cycle the camera, then test again.
Lastly, if the above does not resolve, as a test, delete the Local Recording Rule. Wait 5 minutes then recreate the rule. Wait an additional 5 minutes after saving (to allow the rule to sync with the camera) then re-test. Any change?
Have looked for speaker icons, let me check all cams, and will check on app as well.

Its odd to have audio in the recording but not on the timeline. But i believe the timeline audio is muted by default.
All a sudden the Speaker was showing up, on the 24/7 timeline… lol…just went and looked after your reply, and it was there…so, currently have audio on 24/7 playback along with standard recordings…
