No Audio on live camera stream

When I am viewing the live video stream of my outdoor camera, I can’t hear any sound. But I can hear sound on any saved videos. On the live feed, there is no audio, but if I push the talk button, my voice does come through the camera speaker. So anyone on my porch could hear me, but I cant hear them. How can I enable sound on the live feed through the Alarm.com app?

Audio on live video is currently only available in the Alarm.com app, not the website.

Camera feeds will load with the audio off. Tap the screen to bring up the UI options and tap the speaker icon in the bottom left to toggle audio.

Also seems like the website is having issues with actual live streaming vs. the app, which has no problems. Related?

Yea, I am using the iOS app. For whatever reason, I am getting sound from my indoor camera, but not from my exterior camera. Irregardless of any of the UI options I change in the app… Speaker Icon doesn’t seem to do anything on the exterior camera.

EDIT: And confirming again, I DO have sound on any of the saved clips from triggered events on the exterior camera, just not the live feed.

Can you check and make sure that your iOS Alarm.com app is on the latest version.

Could you test the camera on another device? Another phone or an iPad?

Could you perform a power cycle on the camera? You can do this by unplugging the transformer for about 2 minutes and then connecting it back and wait a few minutes for the camera to connect back to Wi-Fi.

If these steps don’t fix it, the next recommendation would be to factory default the camera

Resetting to factory default and re-adding the camera fixed it! Thanks!
