You mention the green LED flashing. Does the Red LED flash at the same time?
The Red LED indicates the signal is being transmitted by the repeater.
Keep in mind that if the sensors are life safety sensors (smoke, CO, etc.) they will not have their signals repeated.
Also, I believe you are working with the most recent hardware revision of the repeater. There was an enroll button on older versions.
Thanks Jason. So right after I submitted here, Alarm.com got back to me and said my version of the panel hardware doesn’t support the repeater. They sent me a new panel and now everything works fine. I could even enroll it as a Wireless Translator.
I would not have thought that a signal pass-thru would be hardware dependent, but I guess it is. Thanks for your reply!
Justin… Could you tell me what panel version you have? I am also having signal issues due to the distance of some of my sensors to the panel. I was thinking of buying the RE120 repeater, but I want to make sure it’s compatible first.
It looks like the repeater has issues with RFPIC6
Check Settings - About. What is your RFPIC version?
I have the RE120 and it works great. 4200 sqft with no signal issues for my alarm sensors.
My RFPIC version is 8.2-G
8.2 should be fine with the repeater
