Need an alarm and have an old one

Difficulty mainly depends on how comfortable you are with working on this sort of thing. We have guides that cover the installation of the hardwire conversion modules, which you can use to determine if you’d like to proceed with trying to reuse those sensors. Those guides can be found here:

There are also other replacement options to consider. Instead of reusing the old hardwired sensors, you can install new wireless sensors and use the IQ Panel 4 or IQ 4 Hub. This would bypass the need to mess with the old panel, aside from disconnecting power from it if desired.

Lastly, you could also swap your Vista 10se system for a different Vista system that is compatible with Alarm.com. Compatible Vista systems can be found here. The wiring between your current system and a newer Vista system would be very similar.

Certainly! If you currently have a normal wired doorbell, I recommend the ADC-VDB750. If you do not have doorbell wiring already, the ADC-VDB780B is battery-powered, and we ship it with the Alarm.com Smart Chime, which is plugged into an indoor outlet.

We do have more cameras, which can be found here. Depending on the model, cameras would need to be plugged into an outlet, have Power-over-Ethernet run to them, or have a hardwired power connection.

The IQ Panel 4 features integrated microphones that can be used as a glass break sensor. You can also install dedicated glass break sensors, which would also trigger an alarm when activated.
