I am attempting to add two garage doors through a MyQ controller, but the only options that show under add device/garage doors are overhead door and genie. I have attempted through the app and web.
Am I missing a step?

To put it in general, basic terms you must first connect the garage controller to wifi then you must add that controller to your alarm.com account (usually via serial number)

I have a WiFi-enabled garage door opener from LiftMaster. From reading through the various support posts on LiftMaster and Chamberlain, the secret sauce seems to be not registering the device with MyQ.
However, I can’t seem to find a way to program the device for WiFi without using the MyQ app.

MyQ is an optional add-on which can be enabled in the system manager. Make sure you have it enabled first by visiting the system manager here .
