Ladies and gents need some help. My main panel is having trouble connecting the remote panel to the main panel. I cannot back out to reset. Any help
What are you currently seeing on both keypads?
It looks like the main panel is currently not connecting to alarm.com. What does the main IQ Panel 2 show? You may need to perform a power reboot by unplugging the transformer followed by the battery and leave powered down for about 5 minutes for the panel to fully discharge. Then, connect the battery first followed by the transformer
It’s showing pair and test when I select pair it searches and try’s to pair the two panels
I don’t know how I would even do that what am I unplugging ? From where

You have two issues here; the IQ Panel 2 (main panel) is not communicating with Alarm.com. The second issue, the IQ Remote (secondary panel) is not paired to the main panel.
Restore Communication at the IQ Panel 2
The main IQ Panel 2 last reported a Radio Not Responding trouble condition . This indicates the main IQ Panel 2 cannot communicate with Alarm.com via cellular or broadband and may be powered off. This issue should be taken care of first before moving on to other issues.
At the IQ Panel 2:
- Navigate to Settings → Advanced Settings → Power Down
- Can use either the Dealer, Installer, or Master User Code
- Once the panel is off, unplug the Power Supply from the wall outlet.
- Open the panel and disconnect the internal battery
- Leave the panel completely off for at least 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes minimum, plug in the battery followed by the power supply
- Hold the button on the side of the panel down for 2-3 seconds to boot up.
- After boot up, wait 5 minutes and check signal strength and/or run a cell test to check for resolution.
- To check signal and run a cell test, navigate to: Settings → Advanced Settings > System Tests → Cellular Test
