How to Pair the IQ Remote QW9104-840 with the IQ Panel 2/2+ over Wi-Fi

  1. Power up the IQ Remote by holding the power button down for about 5 seconds.

  2. Once booted up, select Activate Wi-Fi, then use the same network that your IQ Panel 2 is on. With the 9104-840 this can be 2.4 or 5Ghz.

  3. At the IQ Panel 2, navigate to Settings, > Advanced Settings enter the Installer Code (default 1111) > Installation. > Devices > Wi-Fi Devices.

  4. Select IQ Remote Devices, then press on Pair.

  5. At the IQ Remote , select Pair to connect it with the IQ Panel 2.

The IQ Remote can take a few minutes to pair with the IQ Panel 2 over the network. If a software update is available, it will download automatically. Once complete, the home screen on the IQ Remote will mirror the IQ Panel 2.
