I have hardwire translator with a few wired sensors and the rest are wireless but they are all failing at the same time. We had a really bad storm last week (lightning hit really close) and a few electronics needed to be replaced. I bought a new hardwire translator already and got one wire sensor working again but fails a little bit later. The panel was working until the battery died so I thought it was just the power adapter was bad for the panel. I bought a new one and the panel is back “online” but my sensors work for a little bit then the malfunction happens again until I do a sensor test or open/close a sensor to re-add it…
To confirm, the panel is powered on by the power supply and the internal battery is charging?
First update the firmware to 2.8.1 Steps and patch notes found here:
After updating test for resolution.
If you continue to run into this issue, run a daughter card test for SRF319. Settings > Advanced Settings > System Tests > Daughter Card Tests. What is the result?
Yes, the panel is powered on by the power supply and the internal battery is fully charged.
Updating firmware right now.
I triggered all sensors again to bring them back online and the daughter card tests: zwave, srf-319, powerg all passed.
I am not showing any malfunctions at this time. When triggering sensors, do they report the correct status to the panel and Alarm.com?
