Missing blinds on phone app

I have zwave blinds that show on my iq4 panel but not on the mobile app (I’ve waited a few hours and still nothing shows under devices). Any ideas?

Have you tried resending the z-wave device list to Alarm.com from System Manager?

I’ve never done that so will have to figure out how.

I see that device on your account, it will be on its own card on the Alarm.com home page as a shade. Do you see that shade now when you login to Alarm.com?

It’s there now on my mobile (on it’s own tile)! Swear it wasn’t last night, but thanks for confirming.

what zwave blinds are you using? looking to get some for my home

I used smartwings. Not sure I can recommend them. Two of the four are getting warranty replaced right now. The zwave integration isn’t very reliable.

I went with Zigbee radio blinds through Somfy, which has an alarm.com back end integration. If you go this route stay away from their “RTS” line and go with the Zigbee radios, the RTS blinds are older tech and only open or close. , no mjd height adjustments.I have had them about a year and they have some quirks but are mostly reliable. The biggest downside is cost, Somfy only sells to dealers and is not big on the DIY market. You also have to find a dealer who is willing to work with you, and knows what they are doing.

I think I would look at Lutron’s Caseta blinds if I had to do it again.
