IQ4 Panel stuck on arming - cannot disable alarm

Hi all
I have the IQ4 Panel system. I entered my home and was unable to tap the disarm button.

While the alarm started to ring, I navigated to a selection screen that presents the following (can’t remember exactly the names but along the following):
Home/Away/Sleep/Wake-up.
I clicked on the home option and it has been loading, with the panel stuck on loading since. Now i am unable to do anything.

Holding the power button on the right of the display for 30s, the red LED flashes but does not turn off. I was unable to unscrew from the top for whatever reason (maybe i have the wrong screw head).

Please help I cannot enter my home without setting off alarms.
Thanks!

You might try remotely rebooting your panel with System Manager.

I don’t know if it will work but it’s worth a shot.

I am not showing an active account through Surety. If you are not a Surety subscriber, you will not be able to access System Manager.

Do you have active service through an Alarm.com provider? If so, you will want to disarm from the Alarm.com mobile app. You may need to reach out to that provider for more information.

The screw at the top of the panel is for the camera adjustment. The screw to separate the panel from the back plate is located on the bottom edge of the panel.

I am unable to access the panel at all since it is frozen, i haven’t set up any services before and assume you need access to the panel to set it up. The builder of the home set it up for a previous owner and i’m having trouble finding the provider through the real estate agent.

Is there someway of disabling the alarm if i remove the screw at the bottom? My neighbours are pretty angry

You would typically enter the code at the panel to disable the alarm.

The default Master User code for Qolsys panels is 1234 but this may have been changed.

If the screen is frozen, or you do not know the code, you can power the panel down to silence the alarm. Note that if the panel is in alarm when powered down, the panel will power up in an alarm state when power is re-applied.

To power down safely, Unplug the power supply from the wall outlet, open the panel, then disconnect the internal battery.
