Installing z wave 3 way light switch

Picked up some z wave light switches. My kitchen lights are controlled by 2 switches on opposite ends of the room. I think its called 3 way.

I installed the z wave switch to one of them. Connected lead/load, neutral, ground, and traveler.

Issue is the other switch will only turn the lights off but not back on.

Do i need a zwave switch for both switches to get complete function back?

There are specific 3-Way switches, and a couple different solutions, though the most common I think is using a wireless transmission. What you use is a Z-wave switch which directly controls the light, then an accessory switch which controls that first one wirelessly.

Otherwise there are GE options that function more like a normal 3 way switch.
