RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS Integration - Installation guide
To integrate Lutron RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS systems with Alarm.com, the devices must be paired with a Lutron Connect Bridge and configured using the Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS app, and the Lutron account must be registered with Alarm.com.
Pre-requisites for installations
Each of the following is required for installation:
- Lutron Connect Bridge
- Lights or Lights & Thermostat Bundle and Lutron Integration service package add-ons. Through Surety this is included in the Surety Home and Surety Complete service plans.
- Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS app
- One of the following:
- RadioRA 2 Main Repeater with firmware version 6.1.0 +
- HomeWorks QS processor with firmware version 5.1.0 +
Configure Lutron equipment using the Lutron app
To activate the RadioRA 2 devices using the Lutron app:
- Log into the Lutron app.
- Tap Settings Gear Icon.
- Tap Amazon Alexa.
- Tap Devices.
- Tap Add/Remove Devices.
- Tap an area.
- Tap the devices that will be shared with Alarm.com.
- After all desired devices are selected, tap Save.
- Continue with additional areas if needed.
Integrate the Lutron account to Alarm.com using the Add Device Portal
Add the Lutron device to Alarm.com
To add the Lutron device using the Alarm.com website:
- Log into the Alarm.com website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click Add Device.
- Click Lighting and Appliance Control.
- Click *Lutron and Lutron Connect
- Click Begin Installation.
- Enter the email address and password associated with the Lutron account, then click Sign In.
- Click Authorize.
- It may take several minutes before the device appears on the account.
To add the Lutron device using the Alarm.com Mobile app:
- Log into the Al;arm.com app.
- Tap Menu*.
- Tap Add Device.
- Tap Lighting and Appliance Control.
- Tap Lutron and Lutron Connect.
- Tap Begin Installation.
- Enter the email address and password associated with the Lutron account, then click Sign In.
- Click Authorize.
- It may take several minutes before the device appears on the account.
