The ADC-CSVR126 can be factory reset using its local interface.
Caution: All footage and programming is removed from the device after it is factory reset.
Software factory reset process
The local interface on the System page.
- Log into the local interface.
- Click Menu
- Click System.
- Click Factory Reset.
- If a password is set for the local display:
- In the Password field, enter the password. More information on password set up here.
- Click Next.
- After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126
Physical factory reset process
Important : Wait at least 2 minutes for the video device to power on fully before performing the following procedure. The factory reset might fail if the device is still powering on.
Use the up and down buttons are located on the ADC-CSVR126’s control pad.
- Press and hold the up button for 30 seconds and release.
- Immediately press and hold the down button for 30 seconds and release.
- Wait approximately 3 minutes for the ADC-CSVR126 to beep indicating it has rebooted and successfully reset.
- After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126.
