Just installed new 2gig Edge system at daughters house, and need to understand Home automation ‘scenes’ on a
Alarm.com home automation (and likely monitored) plan.
Does alarm.com have triggers available for scenes, so for instance automatically at sunset……turn on 3 lights?
And the another scene to automatically turn lights off at 11pm?
Capabilities that make the house looked lived in when no one is home, and regularly turn on the lights that are always used when home.
I have a lot of home automation background with Homeseer and Honeywell TC2 platforms, just don’t know the capability/functionality that comes via alarm.com and a Surety plan.

You can create a variety of Automation Rules based on criteria such as sensor status, panel arming status, etc. You can incorporate Scenes into these rules as well.
Automation rules that are triggered with locking or arming actions are not eligible to trigger scenes that contain the following actions:
Unlocking a lock
Disarming the panel
Opening a garage door
Opening a gate
When performing actions that increase the security of the system, scenes that include actions which counteract this will be excluded as options
