Garage Door Opener Constant Disabled/Enabled Alerts

I agree. I never got these alerts in the past.

It does seem abrupt. Alarm.com didnā€™t see anything different on their end, only that the status was coming from MyQ. It seems like there may have been a change to how MyQ reports it. I am trying to see if there are any other examples of this being reported to ADC.

Yes because I feel letā€™s say when Iā€™m doing oil changes, obviously Iā€™m walking past the sensors, so my phone is being bombarded by the alerts.

Yeah, it is my expectation based on what it actually does that this should only result in a status if the eyes are violated while the door is trying to move. Not just when it is sitting open, at rest. Something seems to have changed at the MyQ end.

That is correct because Iā€™ve gotten the alerts before but when Iā€™m trying to close the door. Never while itā€™s just open

My garage door recently started doing this too. Had never received such an alert in the years Iā€™ve had the system. Nothing has changed on my end.

Thanks, if any other Surety user notices this issue please do not hesitate to post here. We will add your account to the ticket with Alarm.com so they can investigate the behavior.

I had this happen a few times on Sunday 10/13 from 2:15pm to 2:22pm while I was sweeping out our garage.

ADC confirmed that they are working with Liftmaster to investigate these reports. Hopefully will have an update soon.

I start having same issue recently with both of my openers. No mater of time and date when we open we will get disable message and then a second later enable message.

FYI. My issue continues.

Same for me

Iā€™ve had my garage door opener/sensor with liftmaster/alarm.com for 5 years now with no issues. In the past month Iā€™ve been getting the same ā€œenabled/disabledā€ messages non stop whenever anyone crosses thru the sensor with the door open. My dogs go in and out of my garage multiple times a day so I am getting these alerts non stop. I hope there is a solution to this soon. Whatever update/change liftmaster made in October needs to be reverted back.

Add me to the list. My garage doors have been generating the pair of text messages since about October 7. I just typed up an email that was intended for support, but I didnā€™t send it because I see that Iā€™m not the only one. Hope someone comes up with a fix.

Thank you for the replies, I am adding all applicable examples to the ticket with ADC. They are aware of the issue and are working on resolving it with Liftmaster.

You can add me to the listā€¦ Finally decided to start to search for an answer. Mine started doing this on 10/8. I have a LiftMaster Opener with built-in MyQ and never had an issue until the beginning of last month. Regardless of time of day or sensors, I receive this alert when opening the garage door. Basically, I get 2 alerts back-to-back - 1 stating: Garage Door Tilt Sensor Disabled and then Garage Door Enabled.

Based on the dates, and the other experiences on this forum, thinking this definitely is related to an update on the backend or something between ADC and MyQ

Same. This issue started for me within the last month or two and happens every time I hit the wall switch for the garage. Two notifications just the same as everyone else. Please revert whatever code changes resulted in this.

Any update from ADC? You can add me to the list. Iā€™m surprised that ADC and Chamberlain Group havenā€™t figured this out yet.

Jason, you can add me to the list of customers having this issue.

I also have this issue since October. I noticed the email address registered in the myq app is not the email address I registered with. Since I own the only email address for the domain, I donā€™t see how it could have changed.
