is it common for a false panel motion activation on a quolsys iq panel 4 ?
I cant say that the motion sensor specific to the panel is prone to triggering falsely. How often does this occur and when was the last occurrence that was false?
When you use the Qolsys panel’s motion feature, this leverages the panel’s built-in camera to act as an activity motion detector. Motion can trip once every 4 minutes. The panel motion detector is for activity monitoring only (Group 25) and will not create an alarm condition or act as a security PIR.
You can set up masking and adjust motion sensitivity for the panel’s motion sensor under Security Sensors > Panel Motion Settings through panel programming
