I currently have 4 cameras on my system and would like to add one or two more. How can I add these extra cameras. Also, can I record the camera triggers to a local DVR as well as the cloud?
The base level Alarm.com video plan supports up to 4 cameras and comes with 50MB storage. To add more cameras you would have to upgrade to the Pro Video Plus video plan which supports up to 8 cameras and comes with 250MB storage. The Pro Video Plus plan is an additional $5/month.
Currently you can’t record on a local DVR but very soon you will be able to. The new Alarm.com SVR will be available soon.
