How to Install the PG9312
Physical installation of the PG9312 Outdoor Contact sensor should follow the manufacturer’s instructions found in the product installation manual. Installation steps from the PG9312 manual are below:

Mounting the PG9312
Sensor Installation
- Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the slot provided
and push upward to remove the decorative cover. - Unscrew the lower screw from the device cover.
- Separate the device from the bracket.
- Mark and drill the required number of holes in the
mounting surface. - Screw in the bracket with the four screws provided.
- Reattach the device to the bracket.
- Mount the magnet base with the two supplied screws
to an adjacent surface and attach the magnet to the
magnet bracket
Programming the PG9312 with the Qolsys IQ Panel

Place the IQ Panel into Auto-Learn Mode. To do so, at the panel navigate to:
- Settings
- Advanced Settings
- Enter your Installer or Dealer Code
- Installation
- Devices
- Security Sensor
- Auto Learn Sensor

With the panel in Auto-Learn Mode, open and close the door to trip the sensor.

Program the sensor as needed. Then Click Add to finalize programming.
