How to mount the PG9935
- Choose the best mounting position for the device based on desired level of protection and location where a strong shock impact is expected.
- Using the mounting screws provided, the sensor should be installed on doors with, or without, glass inserts and on window frames. Never the actual glass pane.
- When using the magnetic contact, attached the sensor to the door/window fixed frame and the magnet to the moving part.
- Before permanently mounting, test sensitivity by gently hitting the surface on which the sensor is installed with the palm of your hand. Gradually increasing pressure until the desired response is obtained.
How to program the PG9935
- Place the IQ Panel into Auto-Learn Mode. To do so, at the panel navigate to:
- Settings
- Advanced Settings
- Enter your Installer or Dealer Code
- Installation
- Devices
- Security Sensor
- Auto Learn Sensor
- With the panel in Auto-Learn Mode, open and close the door/window to trip the sensor.
- Program the sensor as needed. Then Click Add to finalize programming.
