Create a recording rule that moves the ADC-V620PT to a preset

Event-triggered recording rules can be set up to move the ADC-V620PT to a specified preset. This is only available with event-triggered recording rules. The camera moves back to its Home preset after ten minutes of inactivity after the recording completes.

To create an event-triggered recording rule that moves to a preset:

  1. Log into the Alarm.com Website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Recording Rules.
  4. Click Add New Rule.
  5. From the New Video Recording Rule menu, click to select an event-triggered rule type (e.g., Sensor Opened or Closed, System Armed or Disarmed, Entry Delay, etc.).
  6. Enter a name for the new Event Triggered Recording Rule.
  7. Configure the recording rule as desired.
  8. Click to select the desired time frame for the rule to be active.
  9. Click to select the cameras that are triggered to record.
  10. For the ADC-V620PT cameras, click to select Move To.
  11. Using the Move to dropdown menu, select the pan/tilt preset.
  12. To select the recipients to be notified when this recording rule is triggered, click Add.
  13. Click Save Rule.
