Changed gatway, IQ panel won't connect to wi-fi

Like title says, changed internet gateway and now IQ4 panel will not connect. My keypads beeping is annoying the whole house. I cannot connect the panel to a new network, or to my previous credentials.

What happens when you try to connect to Wi-Fi?

Are you seeing the new network SSID? What band are you trying to connect to and what is the model of the router/AP you are connecting to?

To troubleshoot, access Wi-Fi settings on the main panel and disable Wi-Fi via the checkbox located at the top right hand side of the screen.

Next, reboot the panel (settings > advanced settings > reboot)

Once rebooted, wait 5 minutes, re-enable Wi-Fi. Do you see the network you are trying to connect to?

Trying to connect to the new G5AR Tmobile gateway. Won’t connect to any band. It sees the network, when I click connect it simple does nothing. I tried following your instructions and after waiting the five minutes and trying to connect, still does nothing. Have tried forgetting it and readding and still nothing.

Are you using WPA3 security? The chipset in the IQ panel and IQ Remote panels does not support WPA3.

If so, try connecting to a network using WPA2 instead.

I’m not sure, how would I check? Phone says WPA2/3.

This would be in your access point’s admin settings.

Phone says WPA2/3.

That sounds like 3 is enabled. You would want to switch the security option in the router/access point settings to WPA2. Does that solve the issue?

Try disabling PMF as well. Here is a recent post with a similar problem and how it was solved:

It looks like a guide for setting up and how to access settings for your router can be found here.
