Hello I was wanting to see if we have service can the Standard Procedure be Changed with all the alarms that can accour?
Some changes can be made, but there is not set list of what can and cant be altered. What are you looking for?
Monitoring procedures can be found here:
so i’m looking at switching back to surety after no the best experience with Ring or Cove which is who i currently have but i was wanting to know as i standard for like Co detectors r automatic if we choose to Switch to you all can i just the order of how the monitoring center response is to Say Fire Alarm or Co Detector Even Panic Alarms? we had issues in the past with Co Detector falsing fire department coming out and evening saying its false ? so I want to be called on all Alarms before Dispatching but some company’s won’t allow that change
Are you looking for it to be your phone, or the entire contact list?
Calling all contacts wouldn’t be an issue. Our default procedures currently will have operators call for dispatch where indicated in the System Manager section of your Surety account for burglary, residential fire, and residential CO alarms. You can change where dispatch occurs at any time, including after all contacts.
There was a recent change to residential CO alarms, allowing them to be disregarded prior to dispatch.
For panic alarms and duress codes, operators will first request police dispatch, then call the contact list.
On medical alarms, operators will attempt 2-way voice if enabled, call the premise if there’s a premise number, request medical dispatch, then call the contact list.
Both medical and panic/duress alarms can be changed to follow the same instructions as the others. Both of these will require special instructions to be placed on the account.
