2GIG PAD1-345 Wireless Keypad

To begin programming, Click on the panel logo and enter your installer code ( default 1561) > System Configuration > Keypads. Select an available slot, click “Edit Keypad”.

  • Keypad Used: “Enabled” This will need to be enabled to use the keypad.
  • Equipment Code: “0867 - PAD1-345 Wireless Keypad” Select this equipment code for this device.
  • Serial Number: The serial number for the keypad can be manually entered or learned into the system.
    • To learn-in the keypad, click the “Learn” button.
      Then hold down one of the panic buttons on the PAD1 keypad until its serial number appears on the screen. If unsuccessful, release the button and try again. Once the serial number is populated, be sure that it is correct, then press “Accept”.
  • Equipment Age Select “New”
  • Emergency Keys- If enabled, panic keys will be enabled.
  • Voice Descriptor - As desired

Confirm the changes. Click “Return to System Configuration” in the top-right corner of the screen, then click the back arrow on the left side of the screen. Click “Save. ”

Be sure to test the keypad by entering a user code and then pressing the “Stay” or “Away” button.

  • When testing, you may want to place your monitoring account on test mode to avoid false alarms. If you are a Surety subscriber, you can do this via the Professional Monitoring Tab in the System Manager section of your Surety account.

Remove a sensor from programming

Sometimes you need to clear out an old sensor that is no longer being used. To do so:

Navigate to the Installer Toolbox and do the following.

  1. Click on system configuration.
  2. Press the right arrow until you get to the sensor you want to remove.
  3. Press the down arrow once to get the Q: Select RF Sensor 1 type
  4. Press the left arrow until the sensor has been changed to unused.
  5. Press the down arrow to get to Q: Enter RF Sensor 1 Serial Number
  6. Replace the current number with 7 zeroes. This will disassociate the RF Sensor ID
  7. Press Next > Skip > End.
  8. Make sure the box marked “Save Changes” is checked.
  9. Press exit.
