New Features & Improvements:

Main panel

  • Improvements have been made to the siren to increase the volume.
  • An option for “No Entry Delay” has been added to the home screen for both “Arm Stay” and “Arm Away”. When selected the system will not provide an Entry Delay timer for any Entry/Exit zones.
  • Text descriptions for each Loop number associated with 2GIG sensors has been added to the wireless zone programming. Example: DW10 Loops will now show: Loop 1(Wired), Loop 2(Magnet), Loop 3(Unavailable)
  • 2GIG EDGE panel programming can now be Backed up and Restored from the Alarm.com dealer portal. All Edge panels involved need to be at 1.2 or higher.
    • Note: Image Sensors, Remote Keypad, and Z-Wave device backup are not currently supported.
  • Wi-Fi signal strength (RSSI dBm) values have been added to the Wi-Fi connection screens and in the system information screen to allow for better troubleshooting of Wi-Fi connections.
  • Improvements have been made to the system to improve Wi-Fi stability.
  • Master Users and Dealers can now select if images captured on the panel are sent to the cloud or remain only on the panel.
  • Improvements have been made to the reported battery status on the panel for connected Z-Wave devices.
  • Photos captured by the onboard camera can be deleted from the panel history by the master user.
  • An unlock icon for Z-Wave locks has been added to the home screen header. This icon will appear if any Z-Wave lock on the system is unlocked.
  • An open icon for Z-Wave garage door controllers has been added to the home screen header. This icon will appear if any Z-Wave garage door controller on the system is open.
  • Changes have been made to improve the connection time of cameras to the panel.

Remote Keypad

  • Changes have been made to improve Remote Keypad connectivity.
  • Wi-Fi signal strength (RSSI dBm) values have been added to the Wi-Fi connection screens.
  • The Remote Keypad pairing process has been simplified. The pairing code on the main panel and the remote keypad will only need to be verified and acknowledged.

  • USB firmware update file is available above.
  • OTA update over cell radio or Wi-Fi is available from Alarm.com by request.
