I need to add an alarm panel for alarm monitoring. I already have 16 hard-wired and interconnected AC smoke detectors and don’t want to reinvent the wheel. Currently, when a smoke detector alarms, it triggers alerts in Home Assistant via a DC Signal Sensor (ZEN55 LR) and sends me text messages, emails, etc. This works well.
Question: if I add another DC Signal Sensor, will the IQ4 Hub accept a zwave alert from the ZEN55 to trigger an alarm in the IQ4 Hub that initiates a call to the Monitoring Service? If not, any ideas of how to integrate an IQ4 with the existing 16 detectors so they can trigger a “monitoring” event in a IQ4??

No, Z-wave sensors are not supported and Z-wave devices cannot be monitored to generate alarms on the panel.
However, there is another similar option compatible with monitoring:
The above Firefighter would work with the 319.5Mhz version of the IQ4 Hub. There is also a 345Mhz version if you go with the 345Mhz version of the IQ4 Hub.
You only need one to monitor the whole circuit of interconnected smoke detectors.
thank you so much for the help! Which is better for low cost additions, 319 vs 345? I already have a robust home automation and IP camera system so am trying to get by with minimal expenditures! Would the IQ4 hub plus the audio detector with a monitoring plan get me the insurance alarm monitoring certificate that I require?
Would adding a motion detector plus the Firefighter get me a burglar and fire certificate for central monitoring? and is that monitoring presently $19 per month?

Yes
What is the $5 per month listed with the IQ4 hub?
All plans can be professionally monitored or optionally self monitored. Professional monitoring is $5.
So, if you want the Alarm plan, it would be $14 self monitored or $19 for professional operator monitoring.
