ZWave switches lost on 2Gig controller

I have had 5 ZWave devices happily managed through the 2Gig controller and alarm.com for some years now. 1 light bulb and 4 switches.

Recently we had a power cut and all switches have been “lost” on the controller and alarm.com, and I cannot re-find them with a network search, or when trying to re-pair any of them.

Can/should a power cut do such a thing? Is the config backed up anywhere such that i can restore them? It’s a big inconvenience

thanks

This is a rare but known potential issue from abrupt power loss on the 2GIG GC2. It has been reported intermittently on various firmware versions over the past few years.

The Z-wave network of the panel cannot be backed up and restored in that way. Sensors can, but due to the way Z-wave pairing works the devices would need to be manually added.

The devices themselves will still have the prior network link saved so they must still have a Remove Device function run on each one first before adding again.
