I’ve been doing a lot of trial and error with Z-Wave in-wall outlets throughout my house, and my biggest mistake was buying the Enbrighten models. They constantly lock up and go offline, which has been incredibly frustrating.
I recently switched to the Eaton RFTR9605-T outlets, and so far they’ve been rock solid. I haven’t had a single one lock up or drop offline.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with either brand? Based on my experience, I’d definitely recommend avoiding the Enbrighten outlets and giving the Eaton models a look instead.
