I added a ge plug to a light in my foyer. When I paired it, I was looking for the front door option to have it turn on when the front door opens, and the option isn’t there when I install it. The only options I have are night & evening. I looked at the settings for my front door and it’s called Front Door. I’m on version 1.5.2. Any clue what I’m doing wrong? Thank you
There are two options when creating automation via the rules tab in Alarm.com:
Create a new Rule
Create a new Schedule
Schedules are separate from automation rules and are time based.
Make sure you have the front door selected for activity monitoring and on your emPower Rules page, click “add a new rule”
