My Qolsys IQ panel developed a display scrolling glitch, so I purchased a IQpanel4 with the correct radio for my older sensors. I was instructed to clear the network info from the thermostat to prevent trouble pairing it with the new panel. The manual for the ZTS-110 is very brief, with the same directions for include/delete. “Hold Home key for 2 seconds to set ZTS‐110 to Add(Include) / Delete (Exclude) Mode”. What I can’t get it to do is exclude itself from the old network, so it won’t pair with the new one. A successful exclude should result in the display on the thermostat showing “Noc” but no matter what I do I just get “SRh” then a “done” message, and I have the little rainbow symbol in the upper right corner indicating a successful connection. The panel never detects it. I’m stuck.
Once the old panel is powered down, you do not need to perform the exclusion on the old panel as it can be done on the new one. The exclusion basically clears any programming on the Z-Wave device that links it with your old panel.
To clear the device on your IQ Panel 4, swipe down from the main page > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer/Dealer Code > Installation > Devices > Z-Wave Devices > Clear Device > Trigger your Z-Wave thermostat by settings it to exclude.
Then you can press the back button and try adding it to your system.

“Trigger your Z-Wave thermostat by settings it to exclude.”
Could you explain this step, I don’t understand what you mean.
When I go on the new panel and follow your directions there is nothing in Z-wave devices to exclude.
A device does not have to be in the panels programming in order to be able to clear the device.
In this case, it should be clear the device on your IQ Panel 4, swipe down from the main page > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer/Dealer Code > Installation > Devices > Z-Wave Devices > Clear Device > press and hold home for 2 seconds then Prog button once. There should be a signal on the keypad that displays panel is clearing the device.
If this has been done already, then you can swipe down from the main page > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer/Dealer Code > Installation > Devices > Z-Wave Devices > Add Device > Include > On your thermostat press the Home key for 2 seconds followed by the prog key once. Then you should see something on the keypad to finish programming there.
Thanks a bunch! That worked, I finally got the “Noc” displayed on the thermostat, then it was detected and added to the panel. I appreciate your help, Thanks!
