I’m getting ready to upgrade my legacy wired panel to the DSC PG9HRDW8 wired to wireless converter but concerned about existing Loop Response on my existing wired zones. My existing panel is an ancient Napco Magnum Alert 1016e and according to the documentation, the magnetic contacts uses a 750 mS Loop Response. Is this something I need to be concerned about?
As long as the panel uses standard dry contact closure sensors on individual zone circuits, and not a single addressable loop, then it should be fine.
