Z-wave plus not working after transferring to Smartthings

I decide to make my Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ my secondary z-wave hub and Smartthings my primary. All my z-wave devices where sync properly on my IQ Panel, but on Alarm.com my z-wave plus devices show up as z-wave unknown. All my z-wave non-plus are working, like my Yale door lock, 2gig thermostat, and GE switches, except the z-wave plus versions. Are these not compatible as secondary devices or is there some settings I’m missing to make them work. The only reason I keep my Smartthings hub is to link it to my Logitech Harmony Elite Remote.

I have sent commands to re-sync your Z-Wave devices, which may help to clear up the issue. (this can be done from the System Manager feature of your Surety account as well).

There shouldnt be any additional settings to adjust nor are there any compatibility issues with Z-Wave Plus devices specifically.

However, as of quite recently, Qolsys has discontinued support regarding adding the IQP2 as a secondary controller for Z-Wave, so you may run into issues with pairing and devices populating correctly.

Out of curiosity, what is the Z-Wave Firmware on the IQ panel? you can confirm via Settings > Advanced Settings > About > Z-Wave

Z-WAVE FIRMWARE VERSION 6.51.07. The switches show the same, I’ll give a few minutes to see if their is any changes, if not I may have to revert back to the IQ Panel.

Thanks,

Jose

AFAIK the feature should still work on your panel. Panels shipped with or upgraded to ZFW 6.81.03 are not compatible with the Add/Remove Controller feature for Z-Wave devices.

You may try breaking the connection between the two and starting the process over to resolve the issue. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Youll want both panels to be within a few feet, 6 or so, during the process.

I tried the suggestions and no luck. What I did is just add them directly to the IQ Panel and the rest on ST, since I don’t need those switches on ST at this moment. Thank you for your help.
