Need zwave latch lock to work with 2gig and video doorbell - Want to keep the lock locked all the time and let guest in with smart phone app. Momentary unlock only.
Once door closer shuts the door it has to be locked again automatically.
Unfortunately you cannot automate door locking based on sensor activity in Alarm.com, but many locks, like the Schlage and Yale ones, have a built-in optional automatic re-lock timer (typically 30 seconds non-editable)
My kwikset locks also have a autolock feature, 30 seconds. This is how I use it at my house so the door is locked at all times and each person has their own code so I can track who is coming in.
