Z Wave Holds ADT to Surety Transition

Purchased new home through DR Horton and it came with Safe Haven install for ADT alarm.
I’m switching from ADT to surety. Previously used alarm.com through ADT but want to do all the same functions on alarm.com with Surety vendor (open close doors and garage, arm/disarm system, adjust thermostat, etc though mobile app).
Question is if I was once active on alarm.com through ADT will the transition to Surety Allow me the same access to my control panel or will I have to go through ADT to get them to release zwave holds to control my systems?

If you get your current account cancelled through your provider, you can then activate service with Surety if you have a compatible panel. Compatible panels are listed here.

With the Home plan through Surety (and MyQ add-on if you use MyQ garage doors) you would have access to all the features you mentioned. Devices connected through your panel would be unaffected by the change and would automatically populate in your account when your panel begins communicating with our service.

Wifi/back end integrations like MyQ or Aladdin Connect for garage doors would need to be paired to your new account.

Thank you. I’ve already canceled with ADT. And the IME for the panel said it is comparable.
What is the minimal plan I should get through Surety to keep the same systems control?

The Home plan through Surety (and MyQ add-on if you use MyQ garage doors) would have access to all the features you mentioned. That is the minimum which includes automation device support like garage, thermostats, locks, etc.

Perfect. Thanks for your assistance. I’ll be signing up shortly.
