Our 2Gig lost all Z-Wave devices after a power outage. Am I correct in that they are gone and I need to re-add these devices?
Unfortunately yes, that is correct. We’ve seen this a handful of times on some 2GIG GC2 panels. The main similarity is an abrupt power outage/surge, but its a really rare occurrence that shouldn’t happen.
There is no way to backup a Z-wave device list on the panel, so they need to be re-added manually. Each will need to have the Remove Device operation done first though, to clear the device’s saved parent network data. Then you can add it back in.
